Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Under Arms (Hard Wax).

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth, hormonal cycles, and aftercare. Regular appointments can slow regrowth and lead to finer, sparser hair over time.

Discomfort varies by person, but hard wax reduces tugging on skin and many clients report only brief stinging. Our technicians use calming techniques and post-wax care to minimize irritation; topical numbing can be discussed beforehand.

Trim hair to about a quarter inch if needed, arrive with clean underarms free of deodorant, and avoid heavy exfoliation or sun exposure 24–48 hours before. Tell your technician about allergies or recent skin treatments.

Avoid deodorants, antiperspirants, and fragranced products for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation or blocked pores. After that, choose gentle, alcohol-free formulas and monitor your skin; apply soothing products if any redness appears.

Most clients book every three to six weeks based on personal hair growth. Consistent waxing can extend intervals over time as hair becomes finer. Our team will recommend a schedule tailored to your growth pattern and lifestyle.

Contraindications include sunburn, active skin infections, open wounds, recent chemical peels or laser treatments, and certain medications that increase sensitivity. Disclose medical conditions and medications during booking to ensure safe, effective waxing or to reschedule as needed.
